Times:

Track set up on Saturdays only 7:30 -8:30 am

NOTE: All GIT race meets are run with starting boxes!

Saturday  We will run box practice for dogs entered in the meet from 8:00 am until everyone has had a turn. Unentered dogs may practice between programs or after the meet only.

Gate entries taken from 8:30 am - 9:00 am

Pre-entries taken till noon on Thursday previous to race date. Entries will be accepted by e-mail to Teri Dickinson dickinsont@mindspring.com or by phone 972 396-8990 (leave a message) or by snail mail 4 Hillcrest Dr. Lucas TX 75002

All we need for a pre-entry is your name, the dog's names and their LGRA numbers. You may turn in your entry forms and money during the gate entry period.

LGRA Entry Form

Please pre-enter so we can have your plates made up ahead of time, and look up your previous records. This will greatly speed up the process on race day.

Roll call and inspection 9:00 am followed immediately by the draw and the beginning of the first program.

Track tear down on Sundays after the race meet.

Pre-entries (see above):

$12/dog for up to three dogs per household. Then $3/dog for each dog thereafter.

Gate entries: $20 for the first dog and $15/dog thereafter

HOSPITALITY

No Shade, no water on site, bring your own. Lunch and drinks will be available. RV's can stay on site Saturday night for a $15 fee.

Directions:

McKinney is located approximately 33 miles northeast of downtown Dallas via U.S. Highway 75 (North Central Expressway). From U.S. Highway 75, take the Highway 380 exit and head WEST approximately 2.5 miles until you reach FM 1461. Turn right (NORTH) on FM 1461 and travel approximately 3.8 miles to County Road 166. Turn right (NORTH) on County Road 166. Go about a mile. You will see the MPEC facilities on your left. Do not turn in. Continue until you reach the stop sign at County Rd 168. Turn left (west) onto County Road 168. Field is on the left about 1/4 mile. There is a white metal gate at the bottom of the hill. See Drawing
